INSTALLATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Customer/Purchaser acknowledges and accepts all modifications needed to be performed during installation which may require drilling several small screw holes in the undertray (splash Guard) of the vehicle to secure the Tego Retractable License Plate mechanism. Furthermore, Customer/Purchaser acknowledges and accepts any and all minor modifications to rubber and plastic wind deflectors underneath the vehicle.
POWER SUPPLY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Customer/Purchaser acknowledges and accepts the use of the vehicle’s main battery to provide power to the TĒGO License Plate Retractor. In order to maintain proper battery life of your vehicle, it is recommended that a battery maintainer is utilized for vehicles which are driven less than once every fourteen days.
FRONT LICENSE PLATE LAW ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
If residing in a mandatory front plate state, Customer/Purchaser acknowledges and accepts responsibility to display front license plate on all public roads and parking structures at all times without holding Tego Automotive Products Inc., Its affiliates, the dealership which the product was purchased through, nor the installers, responsible for any violations as a result of Customer/Purchasers’ non-compliance.
GROUND CLEARANCE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Customer/Purchaser acknowledges and accepts risk of damage to their vehicle and/or their Tego License Plate Retractor as a result of lower ground clearance caused by their vehicles’ limited ride height design.
HELPFUL TIPS TO AVOID RISK OF DAMAGE DUE TO LIMITED GROUND CLEARANCE:
* Drive slowly and carefully on steep slopes (e.g. Speed bumps, Parking lot ramps, Curbs, Uneven roads, Lifting Platforms, etc.)
* Avoid Steep Driveways.
* Be careful of damage caused by driving into cement parking blocks.
* If applicable, use front camera display to avoid bumping into curbs or cement parking blocks.
ATTENTION: IMPORTANT NOTICE
DO NOT operate unit (Open or Close) while driving. Open or Close unit ONLY when parked.
